3. Subscription Plans and Payment
- Mabuku Online offers multiple subscription plans. Plan details, pricing, and benefits are published on the website.
- All subscription fees are charged in Malawian Kwacha (MWK) through approved payment partners, including PowerPay.
- Payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable Malawian consumer protection laws.
- Subscription billing cycles may be monthly, quarterly, or annually, depending on the selected plan.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
4. Cancellation and Termination
- Users may cancel their subscription at any time through their account dashboard.
- Cancellation prevents future billing but does not entitle the user to a refund for prior payments.
- Mabuku Online reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
- Accounts terminated due to violations are not eligible for refunds.
5. Access to Content
- A valid subscription grants limited, non-transferable, and personal access to content within the selected plan.
- All content remains the intellectual property of Mabuku Online and/or the respective authors.
- Users are strictly prohibited from:
- Sharing or distributing content outside the platform
- Uploading Mabuku Online content to other websites or platforms
- Reselling or redistributing subscribed or purchased content
- Mabuku Online reserves the right to update, modify, or remove content at any time without prior notice.
6. Author Membership and Submissions
Where author memberships are offered:
- Authors must comply with submission guidelines and content standards.
- Mabuku Online reserves the right to accept, reject, suspend, or remove any content that violates platform policies or Malawian law.
- Authors confirm that they own full rights to all submitted content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All trademarks, logos, software, designs, and platform content are protected under intellectual property laws. Users may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, sell, or exploit any part of the platform without prior written consent from Mabuku Online.
8. User Conduct
Users must not:
- Engage in illegal or fraudulent activities
- Upload malware, malicious scripts, or harmful content
- Harass, abuse, or impersonate other users
- Abuse affiliate programs, promotions, or referral systems
Violations may result in account suspension or permanent termination.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
- Mabuku Online collects personal data solely for account management, payments, security, analytics, and service improvement.
- User data is not sold to third parties.
- Certain information may be shared with payment processors to complete transactions.
