The Lost Glory of a Rich Nation- Hebert Phambala

The Lost Glory of a Rich Nation is a compilation of poems, short stories and plays by Herbert Phambala. The themes in these poems hover around cultural identity,spirituality and religion, love and romance. Uploaded first is the first chapter of the book which is poetry. However the book is a compendium of poems, shortstories and plays in both English and Chichewa. The book therefore can be classified as both African literature in English  and Malawian literature in Chichewa. I hope to induce the right mood and effectively delight my readers. You will find some poems satirical while some address less humorous  themes. I wish you my dear reader the best of luck as you delve into some of my best pieces of art.
